SyncPrecision is committed to transparency. This policy explains how we handle data to provide the synchronization service.
To enable real-time synchronization between users, the extension processes the following data:
Transparency Notice: Operational data (playback events and room activity) is transmitted to our synchronization server solely to broadcast it to other authorized users in the same virtual room.
This data is temporarily processed in memory and may be saved to short-term room-specific log files for technical synchronization and debugging purposes.
Retention: Room-specific log files are automatically overwritten and deleted as soon as a room with the same ID is re-initialized (re-created). We do not maintain long-term archives of your viewing history.
User-specific settings (such as UI opacity, theme, and preferred username) are stored locally on your device using the Chrome Storage API. This data never leaves your computer.
We never sell, trade, or share your data with third-party advertisers or data brokers. Data transmission only occurs between your browser and our dedicated synchronization server (soeren-server.de).
